This is a basic guide to getting you off the ground and into the heaven of Skrive.It, there's a lot to learn, so it is split into a few parts. Skrive.It is a great place for sharing content that you have written, more specifically though, it is also about the community, where writers-alike can comment and share their thoughts.

Hello there!

Welcome to your journey in to Skrive.It, it is hopefully going to be a long one, and with that, you need to get to grips with the basics of using Skrive.It, and how you can maximize your earnings, but, more importantly, increase the amount of interaction you have with others in the community.

Just a quick overview of the features...

Skrive.It comes packed with lots of brilliant features, both for monetization purposes, sharing, but also the interaction elements between various users.

• Comments - Comments are a great way of interacting with other authors on the website, they allow you to share your thoughts and feelings with both the author, but readers too. You can have open discussions and debates.
• Messages - Messages are similar to the way the messaging system on Facebook works, you send a message to a user, and only the recipient can actually view that message, effectively a private message, allowing a more direct, yet tailored communication solution.
• Followers - Found an author whose` content you quite like? Jolly good! Following them allows you to reach their content more easily, and keeps you up to date on any future content they publish, so that you can be the first hear it.
• 'Give' - A fairly unique feature, especially in the 'paid-to-write' kind of websites, but, the Give feature allows you to send authors 10 Points each time. Points are redeemable in contests for tickets, so it is a good way to self-reward authors you enjoy reading content from.
• Favorites - Favorite is sort of like 'following' a user, except, it is specific to that exact article, therefore only allowing you to visit that article more easily, rather than going through the conventional system of search/category viewing.

 Getting Around Skrive.It

When you first visit a website, it can be quite daunting trying to find your way around and get to know how everything works, usually you will try to test various functions, in order to achieve the desired result, this can take up a lot of time though.
If you're wanting to publish a new article to Skrive.It, you simply click the 'Compose' button at the top right-hand corner below your pen-name.
To see your current earnings, you can look at the sidebar navigation links on the left.

Finding specific content can also be difficult, but luckily Skrive.It has a couple functions to make that much easier, one of them being a simple search-bar, which will search for the tags you enter, and the other allowing you to go straight into a specific category to find a broader range of content, both shown here:
